I have never attended any school before, but today God made it possible for me to be a learner with LAM. I am fully empowered by my leader by God's grace. “I attended a 1-day LAM training in person. I almost couldn't sleep that night! I was absolutely captivated and excited about this pure and simple way to teach children (and all ages, actually) the Bible and make disciples. I was with 4 and 5 year olds at my church this last Sunday as a last-minute helper and was amazed how my perspective had changed, wanting to intentionally create a safe sweet environment, knowing children arrive in red, yellow, green zones. Just implementing that mindset made a huge difference! I watched transformation and safety come about before my very eyes! I and they experienced the love of God in such a beautiful way! And I as a "leader" felt so much more engaged!”

“We are doing well…in church using your LAM method. We have about 12 people who regularly help and are familiar with the method, and we are enjoying it so much! Although LAM focuses on learning through Bible stories, we’ve been doing parts of the Sermon on the Mount (God caring for the lilies and "love your enemies - for he causes his sun to rise on evil and good”). I didn’t know LAM could work well for “non-story” parts of the Bible - but it has been working wonderfully!”

The story was from the book of Genesis 13, and it was verses 9-10 that really taught me how to let others choose first and how to be a selfless person that is able to make a self sacrifice. "Before my life was marked by despair, confusion and an inner vacuum. I was constantly looking for something that would give meaning to my life and that would fill the void that I felt deep inside me. I tried different ways, but nothing seemed to appease this insatiable thirst for happiness and inner peace.

However, it all started to change when I first came to the CIC club as I discovered the teachings of the Bible stories and then I developed my relationship with God. My life began to take on meaning new and deep. I realized that I was loved unconditionally by my Creator and that I had an invaluable value in the eyes of God."

Overall, the children and staff are responding well to LAM and all seem to enjoy it. The staff are working more as a team than as opposed to working as individuals. Taking a chance on LAM has been a positive choice for our church!”

“It was definitely a blessing for us to be able to see God's work in [Kibera, Kenya], to understand LAM, and to connect with the Africa leadership team. I think what resonated with me the most is how transferable and scalable the LAM method is - even in regions with limited resources and technology. “
